 Kemarin saya dan Vee menghabiskan siang sampai sore kami dengan menonton Tohoshinki ~TIME Tour 2013~ Tokyo Dome di mini KCC, Perpustakaan Pusat UI. Saya selalu lebih menyukai konser-konser Tohoshinki dibandingkan konser-konser Dong Bang Shin Ki karena efek panggung konser Tohoshinki somehow selalu jauh lebih spektakuler, lebih jaw dropping, pokoknya lebih wow lah. And TIME was not an exception. Keren banget nget nget. Ah, suatu hari nanti saya harus bisa nonton konser Tohoshinki di Tokyo Dome...

Sejujurnya saya tidak mengenal hampir setengah dari lagu-lagu yang dibawakan (saya tidak mendownload TIME--what a fail Cassie ㅠㅠ). Secara pribadi jelas saya jauh lebih suka The Secret Code Tour (iyalah secara masih berlima), tapi TIME juga sangat worthy untuk ditonton.

Menonton TIME, saya kembali diingatkan betapa kerennya Choikang Changmin [how Jinwoon, Kris, Myungsoo, or anyone can not top my bias list^^]. And how I can't turn to other idols even though I don't always listen to DBSK/THSK's songs anymore, even though Changmin doesn't really do well in dramas and reality shows.

Today I've been talking here and there about 2PM and editing my last post about them and adding things again and again. Now it's time to get back with Changmin boy.

Sharingyoochun team has just posted a spazz titled Lord Voldamin vs The Ring.The pictures are hilarious. Totally answered my question about 'why this boy looked like he wanted to kill someone AGAIN'.

Well, it seems like Changmin will always have a performance with wanting-to-kill-someone look for every song.. After Keep Your Head Down, now Before U Go.. Wonder why Maximum didn't have one? LOL.

New Year..

Tahun 2010 ditutup dengan ending sebagai berikut: gue daftar kursus nyetir, sedang menikmati liburan semester 1 sambil deg-degan nunggu 10 Januari (nilai keluar), mencoba menyelesaikan ide-ide yang lama terbengkalai, dan yang terpenting... sibuk mendownload :D

Tahun 2010 stasiun-stasiun TV Korea sedang berbaik hati menggelar konser-konser yang asyik punya. Kalo 2009 cuma ada SBS Gayo Daejun, 2010 ini KBS bikin Gayo Daechukje dan MBC juga bikin Gayo Dajejun. Walaupun performersnya rata-rata sama dan lagu yang dibawain juga itu-itu juga, tapi kan ada banyak special stage dan collaborations yang asoy punyaaa :D

Dan dari sekian banyak special stage dan collaborations, yang paling bikin gue loncat-loncat adalah Jung Jinwoon ngebawain Hysteria (aslinya lagu Muse) di KBS Gayo Daechukje. Walaupun nggak sespektakuler collabnya Changmin-Junsu-Jonghyun-Yoseob bawain Bohemian Rhapsody dan It's My Life, nggak seasyik Jo Kwon ngebawain Baby-nya JB, atau se-canggih collaboration dance 2AM-Miss A // Miss A-2PM // SHINee-f(x) // Nichkhun-Victoria atau se-wah collaboration FT Island-CN Blue dan lain-lain sebagainya itu, tapi tetep ajaaaa~~ DI SITU JINWOON MAIN GITAR, EUY! Kyaaa~~~ *dies*

Di video itu 2AM solo medley. Pertama Changmin bawain Video (India Arie), trus Seulong bawain Beautiful Monster (Ne-Yo), abis itu Jinwoon bawain Hysteria (Muse), baru deh Jo Kwon bawain Baby (JB).

Sayang gak ada foto pas Jinwoon lagi nyanyi sambil gitar di situ :x  ntar gue cut dulu deh kkkk :D


Dan yang paling membuat this new year becomes more perfect is... DONG BANG SHIN KI WILL RELEASE NEW ALBUM ON JANUARY 5 2011! Teasersnya udah ada di akun youtube SM Entertainment. Oh, betapa gue jingkrak-jingkrak tiap kali liat teaser yang cuma 30 & 50 detik itu. Ampun dah. Tapi emang keren banget sih.. Bener-bener menunjukkan kelasnya DBSK, not an ordinary boyband :)  Cek aja teaser ketiganya ini, 50 detik:

ANDAI saja itu isinya 5 orang, bukan cuma 2.. Pasti kejadiannya album ini akan jauh lebih dahsyat dari Mirotic! Konsepnya mantap.. I wonder how Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu will look like in this concept. Argh.

Tohoshinki Announced Activities Suspension

Being popular in Japan, South Korea boyband TVXQ on the 3rd announced through their management agency AVEX that they would suspend their activities in Japan. The label company will continue to support solo activities of all five members.

According to official officer, this decision is result from discussions among the members and staffs. “Each of 5 members decided to go and walk towards their own direction of dream.” he said.

TVXQ debuted in 2005 in Japan, in 2008 and 2009 they managed to have two consecutive years participation in NHK’s festival, and the members are getting even more popularity among the young generation, along with many more fans all across Asia. One of the member Jejung has been focused on solo activities as he is already scheduled to appear in Fuji TV drama series starting this month.

Well, I personally try to think it's the time for each of them to expand the TVXQ name while developing their own (personal) career too. I mean, these years people have known they 5 together are great singers... People should know too, that Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin are each indeed a great guy who is able to do another thing beside singing and dancing *such as acting

Whatever Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin do, even if they do it alone, people will always know that they are TVXQ Yunho, TVXQ Jaejoong, TVXQ Yoochun, TVXQ Junsu, and TVXQ Changmin. *as I posted as comment on sharingyoochun and dbsknights

Review: Share the World

Tohoshinki’s “One Piece” Single

Following the success of “The Secret Code”, Tohoshinki under the label Rhythm Zone released their newest single “Share the World/We Are!” on April 22, 2009. This single contains three songs: “Share the World”, “We Are!”, and bonus track “Asu wa Kuru Kara”. I wonder why they release new single only a month after their fourth Japanese album. Still, the single debuted at number one on the Oricon charts, which extends Tohoshinki’s record as the first foreign artist to have six number one singles in Japan.

We can call the single as “One Piece single” since all three songs have been used as theme song for One Piece anime. The song “We Are!” was used as One Piece opening theme from episode 373-394. “Share the World” than took the place of “We Are!”, while “Asu wa Kuru Kara” was used as the ending theme for the 8^th season.

Actually, there’s nothing new from the music composition and it’s a little disappointing. The song “Share the World” and “We Are!” are pure remake, without any new arrangement. Even the composition of “Asu wa Kuru Kara” has no change at all since it was first released in 2006. However, I feel this single as refreshment. Tohoshinki has shown up with their mature side since “T” and it continues to “The Secret Code”. I like that change of image for the members have grown up, but there are times when I miss Tohoshinki singing something energetic and have children pure spirit. Their other songs with this characteristic are only “Together” from “T” and “Balloons” from “O.Jung.Ban.Hab”.

Overall, this Tohoshinki’s 27^th single is a nice variation from Tohoshinki’s discography. As listening to other Tohoshinki’s songs, you just can't resist to shake your head listening to these songs. It brings you a cheerful and happy feeling. Worthy to collect.

Review: Mirotic

My teacher ordered us to make a review about anything. Since I always fall in love with Dong Bang Shin Ki, I made review about their album. I made 2 review, about Mirotic and Share the World--which I'll post right after this. Please don't bash me if I got something wrong. Feel free to correct, thanks.

The Long-Waited “MIROTIC”

Ever since Dong Bang Shin Ki announced their plan to fly home after finishing their “T” concert tour, the 4^th Korean album was something fans were highly anticipated. 4 years are long enough to make Korean fans starving of their new songs. With the fantastic early 2008 in Japan, I wonder how the group would follow up to their third Japanese album “T”.

“MIROTIC” was released on September 26, 2008 to answer the long wait. Consists of 12 songs, “MIROTIC” soon became a blast. It was originally scheduled for release on September 24, but was delayed due to the pre-order amount of 330,000 albums. Three days after released, “MIROTIC” became the best selling album of the year.

HERO Jaejoong created the new coined term “MIROTIC” from the Korean MIRO (means maze) and the English suffix “-tic” with a hope that people will go under Dong Bang Shin Ki’s spell after listening to “MIROTIC”. Well, the hope seems to come true as “MIROTIC” gained them tons of new fans, including fan boys.

The title track “MIROTIC” is a reverse beat dance track where the elegant melody and addictive refrain are impressive. The choreography, especially the chin dancing part, was immediately become very popular. HERO gave us surprise by rapping for the first time in the second single “Wrong Number”. “HEY! (Don’t bring me down)” comes with strong beat box and drum sounds, typical of SM Music Performance style song, along with the club dance song “Are you A Good girl?”. “Crazy Love” and “Paradise” represent different style of Dong Bang Shin Ki’s up beat, although they don’t feature something new.

Aside from those up-beat songs, “MIROTIC” also provides us a series of beautiful ballad songs. The gentle “Flower Lady”, acid jazz “Rainbow”, or R&B “You’re my melody” is also good choices. For the first time, HERO Jaejoong does solo in the remake of “Forgotten Season”. To make this album more special, XIAH Junsu and MAX Changmin participated directly in the making of “Picture of You” and “Love in the Ice” Korean version lyrics. I like “Love in the Ice” Korean version better than Japanese one, because their emotions are clearer in Korean although some fans said the Japanese lyrics is more poetic. Of course it’s also because MICKY Yuchun shows his high-noted voice in this song, something he rarely done.

I love how “MIROTIC” represents the grown up Dong Bang Shin Ki. They don’t come up with their usual cute, energetic, and lovely image, but more as mature and sexy young men and that’s a good change. Their voices have improved much too. In this album, not only HERO Jaejoong does the main vocal, XIAH Junsu does it too in several songs. Finally, MICKY Yuchun and U-KNOW Yunho don’t only do the raps all the time. What makes me happy the most, MAX Changmin’s dances are totally improved. He dances as sexy as the other members do in “Are you A Good girl?” music video. I was shocked he shows his rare flirtatious side. Nevertheless it is somehow annoying because his expressions most of times don’t match the other members.

For a long-waited album, “MIROTIC” is beyond expectation. Even though some ballad songs are boring at first, the rest songs are much more than enough to cover them. It doesn’t only set the new mature trend among boy bands, but also creates a high standard of how a big hit song should sound. As the chorus of “MIROTIC” said, “I got you under my skin”, Dong Bang Shin Ki really gets their listeners under their skin. This album is absolutely irresistible.

THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!

Seiring dengan kasus Jaejoong-Yoochun-Junsu vs Lee Sooman yang perkembangannya nggak pernah menggembirakan buat gue, ditambah lagi gue pernah baca di blog orang kalo Yunho-Changmin berpihak sama Sooman, trus pas MAMA Jaechunsu malah nongol padahal SM ngeboikot tu acara, gue berpikir, man, it's the time. Bagaimanapun, kalo dalam satu tim sudah berbeda pendapat yang sangat jauh begitu, kalo dalam satu tim kepercayaan sudah memudar, bagaimana tim itu bisa bertahan? Mungkin memang yang namanya boyband Korea itu umurnya cuma 5 tahun *merujuk pada H.O.T*

Waktu tanggal 26 Desember kemaren, yang mana adalah peringatan 6 tahun debutnya Dong Bang Shin Ki, gue merasakan kangen yang sejadi-jadinya. Gue kangen nonton mereka perform. Iya sih banyak di laptop, tapi itu kan UDAH LAMA BANGET dan udah gue tonton jutaan kali. Ade gue juga kangen. Yang paling seru nyokap gue merindukan suara dan performance Junsu -____- 

Nyokap dan ade gue selalu berpendapat bahwa MV Sunset a.k.a Afterglow a.k.a Picture Of You adalah semacam video klip perpisahan mereka. Jelas bukan video klip perpisahan beneran, tapi menurut mereka MV itu kayak 'jalan-jalan perpisahan' buat DBSK kayak yang selalu ada di drama-drama Korea kalo tokoh utamanya mau pisah. Kenapa? Soalnya di situ ada scene *dan kata mereka banyak* di mana Jaechunsu ada di satu frame, dan Homin di frame yang lain. Gue sendiri entah kenapa nggak pernah mau nonton ataupun mendengarkan lagu itu.

Di saat gue sudah sampai pada titik "Sepertinya harus cari pengganti mereka, terutama Changmin", gue baca di http://www.khanhiam.co.cc/ bahwa ternyataaaaa TOHOSHINKI mau ngeluarin single baru! Foto covernya, oh God... I desperately miss them!

Dream Concert 2009

Baru abis ngulik youtube karena sadar Dream Concert tahun ini baru aja lewat *tanggal 10 Oktober kemaren. Hmm walaupun baru beberapa hari berlalu, udah banyak aja rekamannya hahaha good para fans!


Bagaimana Dream Concert 2009 tanpa Dong Bang Shin Ki?
Hmm... iya sih agak gimanaaaa gitu. Penampilan puncak yaa jadi penampilannya Super Junior. Kalo tahun lalu bagian tribun warnanya merah sama biru [dan banyakan merahnya], tahun ini kayaknya biru doang.


Bagaimana 'Leave for Vacation' tanpa Dong Bang Shin Ki?
GARING! Walaupun tak ada Dong Bang Shin Ki jadi muncul SHINee sih. Bagian Hero yang sangat khas itu diambil alih Kyuhyun. Bagian-bagiannya Dong Bang Shin Ki kayaknya sih dikaver Super Junior semua *Sungmin Kyuhyun Ryeowook Yesung* tambah Jonghyun deh.


Entah kenapa, untuk konser sekelas Dream Concert, pas lagu terakhir yang dinyanyiin keroyokan semua artis *Leave for Vacation* mikrofon yang disediain justru stand mic, 1 untuk berdua atau bertiga. Kenapa gak pake wireless mic? Kan suaranya jadi timbul tenggelam gitu.

Guinness Book of Record 2008: Artist with Most Numbers of Photos

[News] Korea's band TVXQ, has made another record in the Guinness Book Of World Records. According to the incomplete counts, Korea's famous male band - TVXQ, from debut to today has partake in numerous photo shoots of magazines, album, singles, CFs, endorsement etc kind of photos has surmount over 500 000 000 ( including group, solo shots and with others ). TVXQ has became the only artist with most numbers of photos of all celebrities globally.

This record has been officially recorded in the Guinness Book Of World Records. This is Korea's artist, TVXQ. They have the most number of fans, which is also included in the records.

note: The total number of photos are counted from the day they debut to 19 March 2009. Their debut is 26 December 2003.
