Jooyoung joins Starship X Entertainment?

This morning I was shocked by Jooyoung RTing Starship Entertainment's tweet about 'Starship X Troopers Concert' on August 31, 2014 in Olympic Hall.

It's been a while since the release of his single 'Popstar' on September 2013. He did a few featuring performances in Kim Feel's concert earlier this year, but still~ Seeing him listed in a concert held by a major label is totally.... wow. I am really speechless when I saw this at the first time. Jooyoung will share the same stage with Junggigo, MadClown, and SISTAR's Soyou and Hyolyn! :")

But does it mean he belongs to Starship X now?

Yes, it bugs me a lot. He left RealCollabo on April 2013 and has been under Belikewater Records ever since, as stated in his Facebook page. However, I highly suspect that Belikewater Records is his self-owned label, since it only has him under it (check their website here).

I tried searching for any news stating Jooyoung joins Starship X Entertainment only to find none. When I tried searching in Twitter, the first tweet stating Jooyoung is Starship X artist was made by @STARSHIPindo on 7:32 AM (GMT+7), followed by a tweet by @STARSHIPeffect on 8:09 AM (GMT+7).

I cannot believe it 100% since both of them are fanbase accounts which based in Indonesia. So I opened STARSHIPXent official twitter and found Jooyoung on the top of their following list.

I move to Jooyoung's personal twitter, opened his following list, and found he recently followed all Starship and Starship X Entertainment's artists.

Then I checked his profile on Naver, it also stated that he is now under Starship X. It also said that the profile has been changed today.

Seeing these, I think it's 99% safe to say that Jooyoung is under Starship X now. I am still bothered by the fact neither Jooyoung nor Starship X has announced him joining Starship X, so I leave that 1% there until there's an official announcement ^^. I mean, hey, Jooyoung took his time to announce his leave from RealCollabo~ And Starship X did announcements when Junggigo and MadClown joined them.

Thanks to that tweet by Starship Entertainment, today Jooyoung gained attention and new fans --especially from Indonesia ^^

Now that he's a part of Starship X, I hope I can see his 'official major debut' soon! (and maybe collaborations with K.Will? *wink wink*)

Jooyoung left Realcollabo

I was enjoying myself, browsing through Twitter and all when suddenly Jooyoung tweeted this.

trans: Next direction together with album, I am thinking about it very quickly. Firstly, I will appear on @sickboimusic's song as featuring, produce by @jacey714

Automatically, I replied to it with quote and add "완전 기대 (heart)" since I didn't know what 방향성 means at first. But I realize something was wrong as I scrolled down my timeline. That tweet turned out to be part of his serial tweets.

Actually, he has indicated from his first tweet (of the serial tweets) that there'll be some not-so-good news.

This one is his announcement.

trans: I left Realcollabo, which is like hometown for me. I was going to talk about this when my next album is out, but I end up telling you earlier like this. I developed so much in this group named Realcollabo. This is a decision for my next leap. I don't have anything to say anymore..

Ack. This news shocked me so much, really. I admit I'm not a fan of other Realcollabo's artists and I'm not Jooyoung's die hard fan either. I admit I had once thought that something is wrong with Realcollabo and Jooyoung (because he didn't release anything after 그대와 같아 at late 2010 for a long time, before finally he released From Me to You last year. But he still hasn't made an 'official debut' like, let's say, Baek Seunghoon). However, I thought that everything goes well since Jooyoung had a concert with Siaena few months ago at Hongdae V Hall.

His next tweet is the one that I saw first (which I stupidly replied too enthusiastically -____-). This tweet is his last tweet for tonight.

I don't know what to feel. I mean, I was fangirling over Jung Dongha's performances in Immortal Songs 2 (to the point that I forgot I have speech exam tomorrow and the fact that K.Will released his Love Blossom MV today) and suddenly... Joo brought this kind of news. Oh, Joo. You know I've been waiting for so long for your albums (and live performance on music programs, oh). However, I am suspicious he had appeared on KBS1 these days on some program, but I can't say anything since I really have no idea about the truth. But I found these in his recent twitpic.

The first picture was from his 그대와 같아 photo shoot, I think, since his outfit is the same. The second and the third were posted in his Instagram before. Yeah, I don't like his current hairstyle >,<

Oh, Joo... I don't know what to say to you. If anything, I just want you to live your life happily and to be able to do the music you love. You don't have to have a flashy career, which may earn you loss of privacy and all. It will be enough if you are able to share the music you love with the people who love you and your music.

Well, I know he may never read this but I just can't help to say those words.^^
And if anything, may I remind you that Joo did reply to my tweet twice (before he deleted his first reply)? LOL.

Hari ini dosen mata kuliah Terjemahan saya (lagi-lagi hanya) meninggalkan tugas menerjemahkan artikel. Teman-teman termasuk saya kontan bersorak gembira karena tidak ada kelas (tapi saya jadi sedikit menyesal karena sudah terlanjur ngampus). Akan tetapi, mengingat kalau saya langsung pulang tugas terjemahan itu pasti akan lama saya selesaikan, jadi saya putuskan untuk tetap tinggal di kelas dan mengerjakan tugas tersebut.

Who is this guy?

For you wondering who he is, Jooyeong is a new singer from RealCollabo, an agency where Ra.D belongs to. Don't know who Ra.D is? He is the composer and lyricist of I Can't sung by 2PM (minus Taecyeon and Wooyoung), and also I'm in Love sung by Narsha.

Why am I suddenly posting his pictures and info?

Because we, the class of 2010 of Korean Language and Culture University of Indonesia, are falling in love with his voice and we wish he can come to Jakarta Depok very soon :)

Is he a good singer?

You should check RealCollabo youtube account and listen to him by yourself. If you are not melting with the way he sings Nothing's Gonna Change My Love, then I should say you are heartless xD  His English is flawless and when I listen to him without watching the video, it doesn't feel like listening to a Korean singer singing English song.
