tentang Korea #1: Oppa

[Hari ini adalah H-2 Korean Culture Day 2012, jadi daripada saya melampiaskan seteres saya dengan gila-gilaan lebih baik dengan bikin postingan ini. Siapa tahu bisa menambah pengetahuan (siapa saja)]

Saya yakin, seyakin-yakinnya, kalau semua penggemar lagu-lagu K-Pop pasti tahu atau paling tidak pernah dengar yang namanya kata 'Oppa'. Oppa itu boleh dibilang sebagai kata Korea kedua terpopuler setelah saranghae.

Literally, 오빠 [yang dibacanya o-ppa, bukan op-pa] berarti 'panggilan kepada kakak laki-laki oleh anak perempuan'. Beda dengan konsep mas-mbak, uda-uni, aa-teteh, dan lain-lain di Indonesia yang hanya membedakan panggilan berdasarkan jenis kelamin sang kakak yang dipanggil, di Korea jenis kelamin sang adik yang memanggil juga berpengaruh kepada sebutannya. Tapi anehnya, seinget saya, saya pernah baca kalo Kim Myungsoo yang tampan itu ulang tahunnya tanggal 20 Maret, sama kayak Lee Junghwan dan orang itu.

(the worst) March 9th

Besides March 3rd, I have always love March 9th. Seperti yang pernah saya bilang, saya suka March 9th karena lagunya Remioromen itu :D Trus ternyata Taeyeonie dan Jooyeongie dan Yoohwanie 4.4.12 juga ulang tahun di March 9th.

Tapi March 9th tahun ini sungguh-sungguh sangat miserable.

Hari ini saya pakai baju pink, jilbab pink, trus sepatu unyu. Pokoknya unyu banget deh hari ini (demi 'merayakan' March 9th). Eh tahu-tahu hujan seharian. Hasilnya pulang ke rumah basah kuyup deh T.T
Belum lagi banyak insiden ini itu yang ngajakin narik urat. Trus udah officially KCD H-8.

In this late of night--or should I say early of day? hohoho
I received a pleasant surprise from my long-time first-ever-overseas friend, Saher. We chatted for a while in facebook and I finally sent text to her. Oh, I should've done that long time ago~!

Then my facebook timeline started to be filled by congratulation messages. What really made my day was 쌍둥이 Dhika posted first this year! (It's almost always me who posted first every year) And guess what, I ended up talking about my ideal type of man with one of my senior ㅡㅡ'


This year I officially turned 20. 세무살이고요. Twenty. Not some teens anymore.

What differs this year from the others?

That's what I need to work out.

My lovely March

I have always loved March the best out of the other 11 months. Ask me why, and I wouldn't be able to provide you a decent reason :D But there is are particular reasons. Should I list? Kkk~

First, my birthday is on March (the third, together with my twinnie Dika and uncle Ronan Keating).
Second, all of my family members have their birthdays in March (except the little baby Aliya).
Third, because Remioromen has a song called March 9th.
Fourth, Jooyeongie and Taeyeonie also have their birthdays on March 9 and Yoohwanie! How could I forget him? xD 4.4.12
Fifth, Junghwan the Sandeul, Myungsoo the L Kim, and that certain someone share March 20 as their birthday.
Sixth, there is not too much rain in March.
Seventh, it's March!
